Who We Are

We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ

The church in Corvallis is not our name – it is our description. As such, it is an inclusive title, not an exclusive one. We gather together simply as believers of the Lord in the city of Corvallis, and we receive as our brothers and sisters all who believe in Jesus Christ. Likewise, we warmly welcome guests and visitors who are not Christians.

We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who have personally received Him as our Savior. He is the most excellent and enjoyable Person. We love Him and endeavor to give Him the first place in all things. We rejoice to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, born again of the Father’s divine life, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

What We Believe

We hold the faith which is common to all the believers (Titus 1:4).

We believe the Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired by God through the Holy Spirit (2 Pet. 1:21, 2 Tim. 3:16).

Our Mission

We preach the gospel of grace and of the kingdom to sinners that they may be saved.

We minister the life supply to believers that they may grow in Christ.

We establish the church in each city that the believers may become a local corporate expression of Christ in practicality.

We release the living and rich word of God from the Holy Scriptures that the believers may be nourished to grow and mature.

We build up the Body of Christ so that the Bride may be prepared for the coming back of Christ as the Bridegroom.
